Ok, not everything is about business. I like to listen to music on my computer during the day - it helps me relax and stay in the right frame of mind. So maybe it is a little about business after all. Anyways, I haven’t downloaded new music in quite a while lately. In the past, I’ve used Ares for downloading music. Ares is a free music download program that’s been popular for a few years now, making it somewhat of an old timer in the world of digital music downloading. There are all kinds of new websites popping up every day with different models for downloading music. Pay per song, subscription, ad supported, private file sharing, and many more. Not only are the major record labels teaming up with big players to offer their own service, now the worlds biggest retailer, Walmart, is getting into the act with limited selection of free music downloads. But for now I’ll stick to my old fav, Ares. I was able to log on and find 25-30 good songs in less than 15 minutes. A nice little break from the phone. Next, I’ll write about the cool motorola S-9 headphones I just got that I use to listen to the music, with automatic cutover to my iphone when a call comes in.
